It was raining and drizzling when we had been to Lake George. A point and shoot camera was what I had at the time. Canon Powershot this time. I think my cybershot is better.

A local tribal woman returning from half-days work. She has collected a number of banana leaves on her head and will sell the lot in the local market. Often they have to work hard through a good part of the day for getting their daily wages.
A small portion of the hill has collapsed due to the land-slide. It was a victim of the heavy rainfall on 26th July 2005.
This beautiful Lotus flower takes a time of 7 years to bloom. Once it does it starts to bloom every year. Its the only breed of lotus to grow on the ground. Other breeds grow in water. Another unique variety of this flower is that it blooms at midnight.
That looks like a fountain in front of a petrol pump, but its not. There was a water supply pipe which burst on the high-way. Such a colossal waste of water. People don't have enough water in many places today and here we are wasting it.
